Ferrari will not be in the Formula One championships of 2010 given regulatory discrepancies that in which the team does not agree. Basically, Ferrari wants the regulatory entity to withdraw budget limits on the teams. If this does not happen, the team will not be in Formula One. Now, this is something which really has to be studied before a final decision is made. One the one hand you have major teams throwing out hundreds of millions of Euros in order to develop new technologies not only in the racecourses but also being implemented into their street cars at lager stages. This of course being the case for Ferrari, thanks to them and other similar examples we have things like paddle shifts, tiptronic, and abs brakes in our cars today. On the other hand, we have a regulatory body that wishes to have more equal cars so that the competition is much tighter on each and every race that is displayed on Global TV. This would please the fans, but it would also lose some of the charm as major brands such as Ferrari will not compete. Some middle ground has to be achieved is the conclusion of this site as it would be much more fun for the cars to come closer in order to make for a more exciting race and championship in general, but major brands such as Ferrari should be there to make it more enjoyable. May 29 is the deadline, the teams and governing bodies have this month left in order to reach a conclusion.
